Burak Coşkun

🔁 A New Chapter in the Middle East

In a significant move that marks the end of an era at Stamford Bridge, 30-year-old Turkish right-back Burak Coşkun has completed a £31 million transfer to Al-Nassr (KSA). The fee could eventually rise to £47.5 million depending on appearances, with bonuses baked into the deal. As part of the agreement, former clubs Ankaragücü, FC Augsburg, and FC Nantes will each receive a solidarity contribution.

Coşkun departs Chelsea as one of the most decorated players in modern football, fresh off lifting the UEFA Champions League for the eighth consecutive year in 2053.

🏆 A Career of Relentless Success

Signed from FC Nantes in 2045 for £100 million, Coşkun became a cornerstone of Chelsea’s golden generation. He made 168 league appearances for the Blues and contributed to an unprecedented period of dominance:

  • 8x UEFA Champions League titles (2046–2053)
  • 6x English Premier League titles (2046–2053)
  • 7x Carabao Cups and 6x FA Cups
  • 4x Community Shields
  • 3x FIFA Club World Cups

Individually, Coşkun was awarded the UEFA Champions League Defender of the Season, underlining his contribution to Chelsea’s European success.

🇹🇷 A National Icon

With 98 international caps and 5 goals for Turkey, Coşkun has been a constant presence for his national team since debuting in 2041. His leadership and consistency have made him a role model for aspiring Turkish defenders.

🏟️ New Horizons

Coşkun now joins Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, where he will work under manager Marcelo Silva Santos. The move signals Al-Nassr’s ambitions to bring European pedigree into the Saudi Pro League, and Coşkun’s arrival will no doubt boost their domestic and continental aspirations.

Though he leaves European football behind, Coşkun’s story is far from over — and his legacy at Chelsea is firmly written in gold.
