Premier Division: Chelsea 2–0 Wolves – Champions Seal 32nd Straight Title
Written by Digby (Match Reports)
Another year, another crown. On a rain-slicked afternoon at the Drogba Arena, Chelsea sealed their 32nd consecutive Premier Division title with a calm, commanding 2–0 victory over Wolves — a result that underlined both their dominance and their discipline under Calin Dimario.
It wasn’t the most explosive performance, but it was pure Chelsea: efficient, composed, inevitable. Shon Mishpati broke the deadlock on the stroke of halftime, rising between defenders to glance home from close range after precise work down the flank. The roar that followed wasn’t just for the goal — it was the sound of a dynasty confirming its reign yet again.
The second half was a procession. Wolves, brave but overmatched, held out until the 79th minute when José Francisco Landeira confidently dispatched a penalty to make it 2–0 after a VAR check confirmed contact inside the area. The Drogba Arena’s 82,381 in attendance erupted as blue smoke and confetti filled the air.
At full time, there were no wild celebrations — just knowing smiles. This was routine history, the kind Chelsea now writes as second nature. Dimario, drenched and serene, simply raised a fist to the sky. His men had done it again.
Alan Kardec was named Player of the Match for a tireless display in midfield, covering 11.4km and dictating tempo with an assured authority. Mishpati’s header and Landeira’s penalty secured the points — and the title.
“It’s a proud day,” Dimario told reporters. “The numbers are special, but what makes it real is the people — the players, the staff, the supporters. We keep going, always.”
Debutant Ibrahim Ramadan also made his first senior appearance, introduced to rapturous applause — a glimpse, perhaps, of the next generation ready to carry Chelsea’s unstoppable legacy.
